Differently Equal

When the head of the Time is hung,
A demonstration of the equality within,
No light or shadow can ever escape,
Not even the air in the dark lung.

So listen to the whispers of this Earth,
Beings as ancient as sand and moon,
Astronomical bodies equally shaped,
Still, you have to accept their birth.

Differences omitted for a portrait,
Cursed habits dwell inside homes,
And if ever mentioned as a story,
If only hoped to reveal this trait.

False banners to shape equality,
A rule set forth by lonely beings,
If only they were ever understood,
Then, indeed, we share this mentality.
