The Days of Heroes

We heard of heroes living on the edges of the world, We saw pictures of men with swords carving history, We dreamt of going to them and giving them a hand, We prayed for their triumph, safety and eternal bliss. The days of heroes have been replaced by celebrities, The men have no longer existed since ancient times, And what we see today are all but tails of rotten rats, Living in the sewers grabbing bites of infamous masks. We await the era when we see our men resurrected, They are drawing near from afar with sky’s guidance, Heroes crowned from the twigs of this Ancient Forest, Whispering eternal calligraphies more men to resurrect. Death Wish

The ancient Spirit of the Forest calls upon Earth Whisperers to make a death wish, Lost wills and forgotten islands of hope Unify their tears under weeping clouds, With double-edged swords unsheathed Unaware of the threats to their own necks, The scrolls mention a thousand-year march, And our brains indulge in the mud’s misery, The scrolls summoned legendary heroes To raise truthful banners to support justice, Yet, all we do is turn clay into dirt and mud, So take heed from the Spirit of the Forest, Continue this march and make a death wish. Thoughts

Thoughts I have conquered before, Left me exposed in front of persons, Protected from the past no more, Engulfed by madness as it worsens. Thoughts I treasured in my core, Scattered as butterflies far away, Confiscated as I stumble ashore, Forgot the true nature of my way. Thoughts I mapped to explore, Faded as if a tiny water vapour, Forgotten behind a closed door, Plain as a blank sheet of paper. Thoughts I forced out after a roar, Found a gust of air for a breath, Reclaimed my aim in this war, Guided into the arms of death.   Wednesday, 9 th of May 2012

Forever Exposed

And they say: “we are curing terrorism” By bombing civilians, Spreading world peace, While treaties are buried and Voices of freedom heard. Voices of freedom heard While treaties are buried and Spreading world peace By bombing civilians, And they say: “we are curing terrorism”. And they say: “freedom is our tool”, Captivated innocent souls Against their will Achieving claimed peace In this deceitful world. In this deceitful world Achieving claimed peace Against their will Captivated innocent souls, And they say: “freedom is our tool”. And they say: “do not oppress women”, In the name of decency Discover your true soul Or wear your veil to Seek true oppression. Seek true oppression Or wear your veil to Discover your true soul In the name of decency, And they say: “do not oppress women”. And they say: “have a girlfriend”, Life is short; a day or less, So live your true life, Tomorrow is unknown, This is open-mi...

True Psychiatric Therapy

If you believe your ancestors came from a zoo, Then let it be as mine were formed by a Creator, And, yet, you ‘love’ to listen to others’ troubles, Care for them, identify factors and ‘cure’ them, Funny how you would not make ‘awkward’ noises– And, yet, your pitiful neurons failed to realise That their basic function in creating connections Between he and it needs a start and an end, But, you see, they do not know nor do you, For that fact, you have failed to appreciate The basic purpose of life and gained a degree In “human medical zoology” if that makes sense. Now, you know there is a reason for emotions, Depression does not occur out-of-the-blue, Rather, non-biological, i.e. behavioural factors Come into play in the lives of poor individuals, At the same time, this means nothing if your Ancestors came from a zoo where inferior skills Are used to teach rather than a humane talk, A conversation that involves reasons and proof, A conversation...

Self-Portrait

Crimson impressionism’s markings, Darting into the array’s top corners, Mixed with constant smears of fire, Sun blazing, out of anger, unto Earth. Down below is a sea of green land, Cries of Justice mixed with flowers, Velvet presented assessing emotions, Delightfulness and everlasting struggle. Silence in the middle: storm is near, Far into the land shine blue-gray spots, Announcing armed gladiators’ arrival, It is a life’s journey... unnoticed art. Sunday, 25 th of March 2012

Mental

Finally, I have understood my own soul and mind, I appreciate these vague trivial past experiences, Acknowledging the existence of these reactions, At last, something to grasp hold of and to heal. Self-diagnosis is often wrong but here is the thing: Depression at times and manic episodes at others, I feel not doing anything and yet I am the president, I enjoy doing everything but never a completed task. Though, I am normal from a normal within a normal, And yet, labelled as ‘mentally ill’ I might or never be, And to you, my reader, this is but a fascinating story, Of one’s self reporting about how to rule the world.
